Preston striker David Nugent has once again reiterated his strong desire to play for his boyhood club Everton, admitting it would be a 'dream move' for him.
The England international looks likely to be on his way out of Championship side Preston this summer and has long been linked with a move to his boyhood club Everton.
Nugent: "I've been linked with them since I was first at Preston. I'd love to join Everton, the club I supported as a boy and wanted to play for,"
"But I'm still young, I'm only 22 and could have 15 years left in football, and it could happen eventually."
Nugent 02/05/07: "Hopefully I'll be in the Premiership with Preston this summer, If not, someone else as every young player wants to be there. Everton would be the dream. I've always wanted to play for them. It'd be unbelievable and, hopefully, it'll happen one day. That's where I want to be.
Nugent in February: "I want to play for Everton, there's no question about that. Everyone knows I'm an Everton fan. My hero was Duncan Ferguson and, hopefully, I will play for them in my career and I'm confident I will do. I used to wear my Everton top underneath my Liverpool training top. I hated wearing red at the time, but they gave me my chance to play at the School of Excellence and it was great there."
