So today my monitor stopped working. Its been a bit dicky for a while so I decided to go and buy a new 1.
Had no means of shopping around so off I went to Tesco.
Found a very decent LG 22" Widescreen monitor for £119 and off Home to fire the bad boy up.
When I got Home and disconnected my old, unpacked the new, I realised that I had no DVI connection in the monitor. So I packed up the Monitor and was off again down to Tesco, which is a good 10-15minute drive.
Asked the fella and he said they had no DVI connection monitors in the store, so I was off again to PC World to buy a frigging DVI to VGA connection, which cost £17.99.
So anyway, great waste of most of the day, a day in which I was meant to be relaxing cos my Mum has taken the kids to Southport. I am fuming to be honest.
Anyway, my problem is this :
Imageshack - monitoro
Is there a way of making the page fill the whole screen, without zooming it in? Other pages fill the screen.
Im sure its either very easy or im very stupid or it cant be done.
Also cos the screen is so big and the stand is so small, whenever I type, the frigging screen wobbles.
So if anybody is thinking of getting a widescreen, DONT!!
