Noted a discussion in the match thread. Centres around the team looking better under Lampard than Benitez.

But is that enough or even an important marker in our current position? Should we be playing Pulls-ball (particularly away) and scrapping for points in the most ugly heinous way possible?

Usually, I’d say we probably should.

But the problem is, this team can’t do backs to the walls defending either. We tried it enough under Benitez, inevitably concede a soft goal, then find ourselves a hole to dig out of every match, often to no avail.

But we’re also not much use with the ball either, so I’m actually stumped.

The park the bus argument is a load of utter nonsense. We cant do it. We have the most gutless, inept defenders in the league.

It's time for our 2 strikers to step up and start playing like they actually want to be at the club. That was total crap again from the 2 of them. They've not contributed to the team all year and its time they had a look at themselves

Can guarantee at least one of our players will make an error leading to a goal nearly every match. Today was Alex iwobi’s turn.

Did he though? Most of his results came earlier in the season, before he adopted the boring anti-football. The last third of the season was about on-par where we are now results-wise.

Yeah, true, it did drop off. But the so called 'the wall' run was mid season.

Let's not forget he beautifully mugged off Klopp at Anfield using a contain and break approach.

Either way, we need points. Could care if one goes in off Rondons arse from a corner against Burnley and deflects 4 times on the way in.

Sacked him and slated him to death on here, he still gets it.

The thing is a lot of Everton fan don't get who we are, what we our, what our level is, they watch videos from 85 and think that's us, top dogs, but reality is different.
To sack a manager who got us 8th was without question the stupidest thing we have done for years and those who agreed with it deserve we're we are now.

It was a joke. The way the fans treated him after it aswel was shocking, he got leathered in here. People talk about loyalty and do things like that.

He came in and done more than he had too and you’ve got helmets on here giving him loads.
