We're dropping 40m on a winger, (who I rate highly btw), that's more of an inside forward than anything

Apart from defenders the only other position we've been linked with is box to box midfielders so reckon we'll set up like:

Who's creating the chances in that side? Cus ?????? won't be a playmaker even if we do sign a midfielder

Should be Besic but we all know it will be Gueye and we’ll have yet another manager scratching his head as to why Gueye Schneiderlin Siggurdson is a horrible midfield.

Besic in place of Schneiderlin for me based on game time so far until he does something silly/gets inhjured which leaves room for 1 more.

Siggurdson is the creator. If there's pace on both wings, gueye breaking up opposition attacks and an energetic midfielder (Davies?) that should theoretically create space for Siggurdson.

Well we spent £45 million on him, so he should be able to step up and play the role. He has done it for Swansea, it's a question of the team being strong out wide so the opposition can't crowd the middle.

Liverpool were looking to pay £15M for him before they got Allison. I'd say he'd be there for no more than £20M at a push. Sell Pickford for £50M and that's good business.

Dave mate, you talk about the golden 4 that Koeman sold/chased out of the club. Pickford would be the 5th on that list mate (if those 4 had not been sold). Bloke is a gem.
