Don't see the point in getting rid of half of those. Our squad is still massive, and a few of those still have something to offer.

Klaassen - Fair, he's shown nothing and on a massive wedge. Get him off the books.
Sandro - See above.
Williams - Garbage, old, and on a massive wedge, bin him off immediately.
Mirallas - Bad apple who only turns it on when he feels like it, punt. Fear he's got Marco's approval though and will stay.
Schneiderfraud - Like Kev, he's got the mental strength of a flannel. You don't want him on your team when your backs are against the wall. Fair-weather player on a huge wage who we should be selling and replacing, but I suspect will stay.

Jags - We need 4 centre backs, he can be 4th choice behind Keane, Holgate and a new signing.
Baines - We need 2 left backs, he can play 2nd fiddle to (hopefully) Digne.
McCarthy - Unless we can get in the region of £20m for him, I'd keep him. He'll fit Marco's style nicely. We can't replace everyone in one window.
Besic - On a relative pittance, clearly has ability, would be in no rush to get rid.

Are the above 4 good enough for top 4? No. But we're trying to stabilise and to cement 7th after a few seasons of toxicity/turgidity.

i think with them all being at their lowest values of their careers, sending them all out on loan and hoping they perform is the best way to go anyway. Say if klaassen rediscovered his form abroad, maybe some teams would fancy throwing £15m-£18m at him. His book value in that time may be lower than that in which case we'l have made a weird sort of profit on him?

I tend to agree he's not up to standard. Just wondering why there have been few midfield links. We are powderpuff in there Gana apart.
 

I would have overhauled that midfield Morgan and possibly Gana out and two new players in, with Davies/Sig rotating. I suppose it can't all be done in one window but our current midfield is our next biggest issue(assuming Digne comes in) along with centre back. We are walked over in that area Arsenal away springs to mind it was easy for them.
