Danny drinkwater is utter cack.

File under runs around a lot not doing much in particular.

We've already got gana and McCarthy that do that.

Swerve.

Remember being slightly surprised when Chelsea bought him after Matic went - vaguely surprised that was only a year ago. He is now 28. But could we not do with a bit of this (if the fee is right)?

Unsurprisingly playing for a counter-attacking Leicester side, over half of Drinkwater’s attempted passes went forwards (64.2%) at a success rate of 78%

Totally disagree, he’s got a great range of passing, plays positively at all times, and does his fair share of tracking back too. He’d walk into our current set up and make Schneiderlin look utterly pathetic. Him alongside Gana would work.

Cheryshev, drinkwater and rojo, I think someone's seriously having a laugh at our expense at the mo. Come on brands time you wipe the smirk off these editors faces and show us what your made of.

Don't get me wrong I agree schneiderfraud is a disgrace and drinkwater is better.

However, I'd play gana dm ergo I want someone who can do a bit of everything but specifically carry the ball make runs into the box and chip in with a few goals.

Not sure that's drinkwater.

RLC would be perfect for me but I don't think he's available now sarri is in.

Personally reckon he'll go for someone from European club, possibly someone we've never heard of.

In terms of priority I reckon it'll be one of the last signings, possibly on deadline day.

I wouldn't rule out it being completely left field someone we haven't been linked with yet.

Slightly off topic but all the debate about centre mids should be not as relevant if tom davies steps it up.

Lots of potential, but am not YET convinced he's got it.

If pre season tells us anything it's that he's probably not a guaranteed starter for silva.

Big season for tom. He's got to force his way into the team and If he gets there he needs to be consistent, doesn't have to be a world beater every game but at least a solid 7/10.
