So out's so far from last seasons first team squad

Lukaku - 75m (rising to potentially 90)
McGeady - 4.5m
TClevz - 8m
Del - 10.6m
Galloway - loan
Browning - loan
Kone - free
Valencia - released

8 players out with 98.1m in so far with uncertain futures as well for
Robles
Jags
Mori (though unlikely to go in this window if injured)
Barkley
McCarthy or maybe even Besic (if he decides to loan him out to get some playing time in and get his fitness up)
Niasse

That is a massive squad overhaul and one which could go either way due to so many changes. Hence me thinking it is so sensible going for established premier league players like Keane, Pickford, Rooney, Gylfi and Giroud who really should not take much settling in time and could hit the ground running immediately.

When he asked to leave it wasn't because he was unhappy. It was because he wanted to make a step up to a team challenging for titles, playing regularly in the champions league etc. With the greatest of respects, you are a long way off that still and you have a lot to prove.

if you ask me though he is a bit deluded, one swallow does not make a summer.

And he's chosen Roma? Good side but can't see them winning the league anytime soon. Doesn't seem to be many big clubs knocking Leicester's door down.
 

think we still need 3 players. gylfi actually not one of them since Ross still here, but seems as though he may well be coming.

We actually need another CB, a LB and probably a striker.

Dream scenario is Gylfi, Giroud, Chilwell and Gibson.

Then the answer to what will Everton do if they lose Lukaku AND Barkley becomes: they will sign Sigurdsson, Giroud, Pickford, Klaassen, Keane, Onyekuru, Rooney, Gibson and Chilwell

and he wants to go to Roma? who have just sold about half their first team and have won as many league titles in the past twenty years as Leicester have

One of my son's favorites because as long as he is in the game it ensures the FIFA announcers can say our last name. Not apparently something that is common i video games.

actually a cracking player in his day, which has since past - don't sign.

I saw it, it just reflects pure bitterness on his part, in tandem with the likes of Aldridge and Murphy who just want to live in a delusion that Liverpool are on a par with Man United, Real Madrid, and the like in terms of financial muscle and pulling power.

Signings are on the way at Anny Road we're told. Doesn't much seem like it and they detest that we have been busy and getting some of the spotlight.

"Liverpool are better off with Aubameyang snub" is one of the beauts from Aldridge this summer. They want VVD but signed Ragnar Klavan :)

What a pillock. Like was he the only person on the planet that didn't know Luk had refused to sign his new contract? :Blink:
