We have never really replaced Peanuts for me. Would like to see a player brought in of that ilk.

If we're bringing Rooney and Sigurdsson in, as seems likely and we're trying to buy Sandro, we're keeping Mirallas and Bolasie then that's 5 players capable of playing in the front 3 positions, plus you have Lukaku and Barkley - one or both of whom could end up staying yet, that doesn't really tally up with Koeman's comments about wanting a relatively small squad, supplemented by youngsters

There's so much talk about the transfers that I fully believe that Rooney, Sigurdsson, Sandro and Michael Keane are all very possible deals.

Think there's an awful lot of twists and turns yet though. Lukaku and Barkley are probably the key to a lot of what we'll end up doing

Koeman likes to play with three 'strikers'.

These strikers aren't maybe what we'd call no.9s, but they are all players capable of creating and scoring goals out of nothing. They must also all work hard and press.

Koeman knows we need quality over quantity, but at the minimum we need 7 signings (4/5 for the first team and 2/3 for back-up). That's not including the sales of Rom and/or Ross.

Huge summer ahead. I'm confident we'll get it right.

Nah, not for me.

Coleman will be back by the beginning of 2018 hopefully, I'd rather put my faith in Holgate and Kenny until then, and if Koeman decides they're not up to the job, I'd rather have someone with more pace who can get forward and provide width in the system Koeman wants

Wouldn't say no but I'd much rather see Kenny given a go. Zaba is finished, he'll probs go to West Ham or Leicester.
