People talk about his crossing yet he had one assist from a cross and not too many more chances on top. Meanwhile he started banging goals in for fun when he got central more which playing as a left footer on the right lends itself to.Not really played right that much thos as he ?? And its a bit of a waste.
But, what do I know. We shal soon see.
Fulham could be in deep too, they weren't as good last season as their league position suggested and Mitrovic sounds like he'll basically strike to get his Saudi move, Palhinha possibly out the door too. Will have money but hard to replace those players.
Run's around a lot, & shoots early! The problem with Gallagher, and the reason he was good at Palace and not as good last year, is that he’s good at a few specific things. Set him up to do those and don’t expect him to do anything else and you’ve got a player you can work with. That of course requires a plan and this being Everton it means we should steer well clear.
We're getting another year with Iwobi on the right no matter how he plays. As soon as McNeil has a dip in form....as he will and probably soon...then he's on the bench for the foreseeable, replaced by one of our shiny new leftiesPeople talk about his crossing yet he had one assist from a cross and not too many more chances on top. Reality is we’re getting another year of McNeil left and Iwobi right while everyone wonders why we struggle to score.
Yeah exactly, he’s not quite a #10 but also definitely not a player who sits deep. It’s sort of the role Doucoure was in last year but there is no other role for him and you have to really commit to it for it to be worthwhile.Run's around a lot, & shoots early!
You want him coming onto the ball but not actually involved in the build up!
Dwight McNeil you are a right winger
He can stay on the left. LB. Make way for the wingers with pace. Don’t mind him on RWDon't move MacNeil from the left, good god, its one of the few positives from last seasons debacle!
Fwiw it doesn’t actually matter which side he’s on so long as he’s not sitting extremely wide. But because it doesn’t matter I’d love to see him moved to the right so the guys who it does matter for can play the left. Can’t believe you’re still trying to convince the world of this.
