We’ll be the only team not to benefit from any astronomical Saudi wedge won’t we. Everton that.
Yeah but like I said in my other reply above, Saudi is becoming a top level league. It's not going to be a joke much longer.Enormous wage and hard to turn down, but he might not find it easy to find another job back in the PL when he want to come back.
He's a young manager who just had a great season. Surely you want to manage at the very top level for as long as possible.

Exactly. Fulham overperformed last year and especially if they lose Mitro will likely come back down to earth this season. Sensible for both his bank balance and his reputation to move on I reckon.Or this is his reward for managing at the (almost) top level. No way this season will be as good as last for him
The premier league really don’t have to watch out because what they can’t replicate is fans, passion, thousands in the away end singing, fans crying, screaming, cheering going through all the emotions… that’s why we have the best leagues in Europe, it’s in our cultureMaybe but then if enough of them go it just becomes another elite league. The way things are going we're going to have to rethink the idea Saudi is just a retirement home / desert kickabout. People still underestimating their league but their project is working and the PL better watch out.
Next step is they buy their way into UEFA / CL etc.
Fair enough, apologies.Lads, there is a Saudi PL thread in World Football.
Absolutely. Golf has had to do a very quick about face. This is very different to all those attempts to make MLS a major force. The investment here is massive and there's little in the culture to stand in the way of football becoming their number one sport.Maybe but then if enough of them go it just becomes another elite league. If only someone who is actually involved in Everton transfers could read this post. It's a simple game really. If he can’t walk into our first 11 then we shouldn’t be signing him or anyone else that can’t tbh… our team is so crap that any player signed should be demoting whoever is in our team right now … to the bench
What even is a fully fit DCL?A fully fit DCL with Gnonto and Danjuma either side is genuinely exciting. Get McNeil playing centrally as the 10 and could be onto a winner.

Onana. Garner
Does look so much better like. am not sure about relying on Dom tho. I do hope his injury troubles are behind him.
Neither Gnonto nor Danjuma have any real pedigree playing from the right.A fully fit DCL with Gnonto and Danjuma either side is genuinely exciting. Get McNeil playing centrally as the 10 and could be onto a winner.
