It’s crazy. Who signed that off? Probably the same panic when that rumour went round that Barcelona were going to bid for Michael Keane so we gave him a stupid contract extension as well.
If that’s correct then Holgate is earning 3.5 million pounds a year. There is just a reminder every day of why we’re in such a mess.

Because in law everyone is presumed to be innocent prior to trial etc. As there was no trial it can’t be said that Greenwood is guilty or not guilty or innocent, but they are presumed to be innocent as “every person should be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty“.

That doesn’t necessarily mean they are innocent though so it’s wrong to say they are or have been proven to be innocent.

Aside from getting dragged into legal discussion and about whether they would be guilty or not guilty if it went to trial, the audio and photographic evidence that I saw and heard is enough for me to know that something did happen and those things that happened are enough for me to think he’s a scumbag and that I’d want him nowhere near my club.

Unless there is a reverse burden of proof, in which case a defendant is presumed guilty unless they can prove otherwise.

Who is going to buy him? He is a great player but he is a striker and his best PL season was 15 goals. As Villa has money and can simply refuse to sell him unless our valuation is met he won't be sold unless a team comes up with 80m+. He doesn't have the goals record for an elite team and no other team is going to cough up the 80m+ that would be required. He also appears happy at Villa, his career is progressing, and he can now play in Europe (albeit the lowest ranked European competition) I think it is very easy to see why he is still a Villa player, it is surprising you have no idea.
