I'd be close to being furious if we sold any of Onana, Garner or Branthwaite also id include Patterson if not for his injuries.

Those 4 have all the tools to reach the top.

I think you’ll be close to furious in a few weeks. Can’t see us keeping Onana given the chatter around him and I’d say an outside chance of fury from us selling Branthwaite too. Especially if someone comes in with a £20m+ bid

Garner is staying I would imagine, because no one is going to double our money on him, and Patterson has to stay purely so DaveK can come up with other ridiculous reasons why he’s rubbish other than he supports the wrong brand of Jesus.

reports we’re after Jack Clarke from Sunderland. Anyone know anything about him?

Highly rated at Leeds and spurs.....had a very good season in the championship.

Yeah i remembered the name. They only recently bought him for £10mil so he wouldnt be pocket change.

Probably a McNeil backup enabling us to sell Gray.

ideally we need a Kravatskhelia like signing from nowhere to completely transform us.

last time we were this desperate a world class diamond popped out our academy to completely change the football club

or just some smart well valued signings who can help us finish mid table will do

We were strongly linked well before he went to Napoli.

If we could bring in an attacking midfielder who put up the same stats as Xavi Simons it would change the team.

Who is it?
German u21 international and Leipzig defensive midfielder.

I'd genuinely think we'd be mad to not absolute ravage this list of players and look to bring in 6 or 7 of them if they're available. Could very easily fill a lot of needed positions, such as left back, backup CBs and midfield, most importantly though attacking wide players. Pay good money for an out and out striker, fill the rest with decent loans and frees. Even someone like Dembele from Lyon is a no brainer for us at the minute.

Bellerin, Bamba and cellabos

What would even be the point anymore if we sold our 2 best prospects in many years for peanuts...

As if they would sell Branthwaite for 20m. He’s just had a good season and got the exact kind of experience they sent him out to get.

Plus it would be completely mental to do that.

We were +25 million with player sales last season, we will get another 25 million from Kean, AND now the club will have a 120 million investment coming in. Thats 170 million, including a large amount on the FFP books. If we DONT spend this year than its painfully obvious that its not about lack of funding, but that the board and Moshiri are just milking the club for what they can get before cutting out, and another relegation battle is highly likely.

He was crap.

Less so than Godfrey and Holgate though. Keane is a confidence player who plays better in simple systems. I'd rather have Keane as back up and spend money elsewhere than I would keep either of Godfrey or Holgate. With Godfrey, COVID and injury have killed his recovery skills and he doesn't seem to have built up the positional awareness to compensate.

Not sure Onana gets the move he wants this summer. Would take 60-70m for it to worthwhile selling and there's only so many clubs who could pay that, and they have plenty of options. If Arsenal get Rice and Chelsea Caicedo, who else is there to bid for him? Newcastle maybe but there are loads of other options out there.

Think there was an article in some rando paper (the express I think) a few days ago that Ten Haag has identified him as a primary target.
