I get that and suspect that's the type of player he attracts....no nonsense, train hard, leave everything on the pitch etc....ideal for the relegation scrap ahead. Problematic if we want to aim a little higher, in my view

It's possible - we are building from rock bottom as I see it though and probably need to operate under financial constraints.

From my perspective I think Dyche is a perfectly decent manager - and it is more around player development, recruitment and finances that our fundamental problems lie.

Perhaps if we had Ancelloti we would have more player interest - but it's difficult to get that calibre.

Just watched his highlights video and it was mostly him being strong and making simple lay-offs. Not much to suggest he is worth €40m.

That’s what a YouTube highlights video can do. I keep going back to it but if Sandro had never played for us and we watched his highlights video from Malaga we’d genuinely think the reincarnation of R9 had returned to football.
