Galatasaray head coach Hamza Hamzaoglu has admitted Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is a target for the Turkish club.

The Germany international has been heavily linked with a move away from the Emirates Stadium following his return from a loan spell at Inter.

Hamzaoglu has previously stated that he is not interested in Podolski, but has now had a change of heart, with the 30-year-old joining Andre-Pierre Gignac as a target for the Super Lig champions.

"Podolski and Gignac are both on our shortlist," he told NTV Sport.

"We have not yet entered direct talks."
