Hope they get stuffed even more and Good arl 'arry does what he does best and leaves for the money and they go on a free fall and go down next year.

Hate Portsmouth.

Well they were poor today, no width, no pace.

Sunderland were lucky that they came up against such a poor side. As for Richardson, I still don't rate him, despite the arse kissing he just got.

Ok, so he scored two goals, but before people start saying he is ready for England again, they need to look at the rest of his game. Several times I watched him make a pass and then stand still - surely he should be moving into position to receive the ball again. Oh and he's such a petulent little prick, knocking the ball away in a sly manner. Its like grow up you little [Poor language removed].

Sunderland have wasted so much money on average signings i think.

Gordon is nowhere near £9m, Kenwyne Jones and Chopra arent Premiership quality in my opinion.

Cant agree about Jones mate I think with a bit of coaching hed be alright(y)

Jones MAY become a premiership quality player, but, do you think he was worth anything near the money Roy Keane spent on him. I don't think so, and I think Keano went a little crazy with his wallet last summer.

I agree with you a hundred percent Dylan but if Emile Heskey is worth 6 million at 29, you gotta say that must be the price for potential.

To be honest im a huge Roy Keane fan as many Irish people are, and his biggest strength i feel is his motivational qualites. I do feel though hes poor in the transfer market he has spent an awfull lot of money on Irish international players, and man utd players, or players he would have played with in the past. You would hoe as a manger granted with little experience would have some kind of scouting network.

That said i do feel teams like Sunderland have to pay over the odds for players in terms of fee and wages to attract them to Sunderland, i think there biggest problem is attracting true quality for their money. Personally i think he got desperate in the transfer market!

That said though what an acheivement what he did last season.
