10/11/17 TWAIN CRUSH DAY
Apart from the RS I always supported any other English team in one of the European comps and I remember fantastic victories for Forest, Villa and Spurs befoe the RS ruined it all for us and got us kicked out of europe.
After we got let back in as I slowly grew bored of the Man U domination I took great satisfaction in watching Barcelona and others spank them. As the same old faces went into the champions league again and again I again got fed up with Chelsea playing negative football with vey few english players in the team. Even though Aresenal rarely play more than 1 Englishman their football is usually so breathtaking that I still want them to win.
Recently we have seen Fulham and Boro charge through to the finals of the UEFA and I cheered them all the way. Even Spurs i wish well despite Redknapp being their manager.
So am I the only one who no longer gives monkeys c*ck if the so called Big 4English clubs flop in Europe?

I dont care when they get knocked out, infact I mostly laugh to myself, but the longer they go, the more it helps our league, with extra places and all that, so its difficult.

I have very little interest in other teams, I mean I normally pick "my favourite", but cant say I care who wins or who loses, unless a team I hate is playing.

I just wanna see goals and nasty knee high tackles.

From a Dutch perspective, it all depends on which of the Dutch teams are playing in Europe, but I mostly root for their opponents. Also only a very few English teams I root for in Europe. Fulham being the prime example last year.

Also couldn't be tw@ted about teams in Europe...
In fact, the only thing I look forward to is them getting fatiged and picking up more injuries... It can only help us more!

LOL. Its 2-0 now. Being someone who grew up only watching the English league, I like seeing the premier league teams do well. I don't get too upset or anything, but I'd rather see the teams I'm familiar with. Like I'd be excited on a Wednesday night if Spurs were playing Barcelona and WAY LESS excited if it was Young Boys vs Barca... only paedofiles like Young Boys anyway.

Liverpool every time for me

A fine Northwest team with great traditions they have brought so much to the game

When you see great fans like that you just have to root for them in Europe

Quite happy to watch United, Chelsea and Arsenal compete in Europe, and to see them do well.

RS though, and Spurs and City this year, I want to see crash and burn.
