That's harsh on Moyes. We did try to play football with him, think Arteta, Pienaar and early Mirallas. With Sam we may as well be playing Rugby League.

Yes we did sometimes but by his own admission we did not play to win against the bigger teams and he had a bad habit similar to Sams of patting himself on the back. Moyes also had many years to build a team, 'time' that is not afforded everyone. The best credit I can give Moyes is he has bent over for Everton each time we have played any of his teams since leaving us.

I actually thought switching to the back 3 made a lot of sense, it was the structure of the rest of the midfield that was pathetic. A wiped out Rooney and two defensive midfielders the whole match. Playing all the old farts because he wants the points rather than what would be the best for the club. Let's hope PSV beats Ajax and we get Brands in ASAP. That would be an indication the club is moving forward and will be a matter of time that Sam gets canned.

BFS stays, and that will mean an entire season of games like that! I cannot even imagine the state of my sanity if that is the case!!!
