Player Valuation: £8m
- Freddie Shepherd sold Newcastle to Mike Ashley. That has not gone well.
- Alexandre Gaydamak bought Portsmouth from someone in January 2006, and is now in the process of selling to Sulaiman al-Fahim. To be fair they won the 2008 FA cup beating Cardiff. As it stands they appear to be selling a lot of players and I dont know much about manager Paul Hart.
- Man City Limited sold out to Shinawatra in 2007, being a bit dodgy and wanted for serious crimes back in Thailand he sold up to Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 2008.
- Ellis Short bought Sunderland completely by the end of 2008 finally getting the remaining shares from Drumaville Consortium (an Irish group).
- 'Deadly' Doug sold Villa to Randy Lerner in 2006
How often are takeovers the automatic success a lot of people seem to believe they are?
