That was for a dedicated app.

TapaTalk is for those who can't go whole hog for their own App. A 'middle ground', but it's a security nightmare and just a complete none starter. I trialed it once... Bad times.

Now we're on a responsive solution, there's no real requirement. The only benefit TapaTalk would offer is familiarity to those who use it to visit multiple forums (to make them all the same) and push notifications, the latter will be available soon anyway.
