Compleately lost here lads any help would be greqatly appreciated.
Right last week my little neice was messing around with my PC she accidently switched it of without shutting it down properly. When i went to reboot it, windows wouldnt boot and i got the dreaded blue screen saying unmountable boot capacity.
So i got a copy of windows XP and reinistalled it, great so i got back into windows, unfortunately i lost all my files. My problem now was that all my preinstalled drives are gone (cant get on line as there is no LAN settings in my network connections) Fair enough i go to Dell and download the drives on there site to CD Rom, yet they wont install on the PC, despite every conceivable way of being used to insatll them. Slowly going chicken oriental here any one got any advice?
Or am i knackered and just have to bite the bullit and buy a new PC.
