Gunmen conduct a 'coordinated terrorist attack' across Mumbai's major tourist hubs, with over a dozen deaths and many injuries reported.

Mumbai under high alert after the attacks hit major business and tourist hubs


There are emerging reports of many fatalities and at least two dozen people injured in at least seven different attacks across the city.
Local television news report at least 10 deaths as a result of the attacks. Others suggest over 25 people have died.
The APnews agency is reporting a local hospital official saying at least 25 people have been brought to the city's G.T. Hospital near the scene of the shootings.
Local police say they consider the attacks an act of terrorism.
The police chief said automatic weapons have been indiscriminately used, along with grenades.
Conservative MEP Sajjad Karim was trapped in the Taj Palace Hotel in the southern part of the city as one of the attacks took place.

Horrible situation in India currently, many recent attacks have been un-reported in the British media.

I was flying to Delhi on Monday for a few days, just cancelled.
