Looking for some advice from some well travelled blues out there off to visit Thailand for the first time in November, and I'm looking for advice on what injection if any, are need when going there. Looked on internet but it was all rather confusing so any tips would be welcome.

I've been but was quite a long time ago, in fact before our last trophy, think we had the usual jabs but jibbed the malaria tablets off cos they really arent good for you, we also went in march/april so conditions could be different to later in year with regard to mozzies etc.

not much help really was I.

Bottle Beach though

Don't need any jabs. Malaria tabs are not really needed unless you're planning on a jungle hike. Even then, get them over there if you must, cos pennies.

Where abouts are you going?

Take whatever jabs you like but my advice, having been in April is, don't eat anything!

I thought I was going to die.

Seriously

Really?

You cannot go to Chiang Mai and not eat the local food there - fantastic, local street food, it's a must!

Last thing you want to see as you're about to tuck into your Thai Green Curry

Thai street food - quality
even in Bangkok

spot where the locals are eating and join them.
feed two people and 4 beers for £5.

when you get to Chain Mai, find the most basic restaurant and try it. they are usually family run and cook good stuff. always worked for us over there.
the fancier the restaurant the more a tourist trap it be.

my favourite restaurant on Pi Pi had this to look at

Just spotted in Lidl in Germany this week is Asian week and they are doing 330ml bottles of Chang for 69 cents!

Go to your GP. I'd depends where in Thailand you want to go. Touristy built up areas or the Jungle. He can advise on which jabs.

Have seen some saying Bangkok isn't all that. I've been going for 10 yrs and base myself in Bangkok, I am however getting a large tattoos done when over there.

People watching is quite enjoyable and costs nothing.
