That Commentator on MOTD

The woman!! Anyone else hate her? She commentated for us against fulham, and i saw her last night commentate on the man city game (i think) - She just isnt a good commentator - it isnt to do with the fact that she is a woman, shes just terrible!!

anybody else think so?

She is a bad joke like. Even my girlfriend picks up on it.

You can tell its so rehearsed its unbearable, not to mention saying the likes of 'Quick as a flash', 'like a hot knife through butter' over and over.

Indeed. To be honest I can't remember hearing her commentate so have no idea if she's good or bad. No problem with a female commentator in general.

Nah, she was doing my [Poor language removed] nut in when she commentated on the B'ham game on Saturday.
As someone said, it's deffo well rehearsed, it just didn't seem to be in tandem with the action and there were far too many little phrases that you wouldn't come up with off the cuff.

She's awful and the sound of her voice grates as well. She also sounds like she knows ntohing about football. ESPN have got a couple women on their reporting team and one of them does commentary on their basketball highlights, she is far superior to the woman on motd.

I think they dub her scripted voice on in highlights as I have never heard/seen her do a live match.
