Do you support anyone in this? Don't go for Collingwood though, a proper bunch of bad kopites they are.lolFirst...
I'm far too busy hating Everton to hate anyone elseDo you support anyone in this? Don't go for Collingwood though, a proper bunch of bad kopites they are.lol
At least it wasn't a defeat. We wouldn't want to be throwing too many games away though. That proved to be very costly last year!Richmond 58 - Carlton 58. That rarest of outcomes, a draw in an AFL game. Feels like a game thrown away as a Blue!
Great mark and goal from Silvagni in the first quarter.

I was watching it last night and when I saw him do that I first thought that he will miss it. I was right. It makes no sense when in front of goal.Shai Bolton bottled it in front of goal. Why do players these days opt to kick side on when they are in front of goal. It obviously makes sense in the pocket.
The great goal kickers in the past never did it - Dunstall, Ablett, Lockett etc.
Always a game where I do not want either to win although I tipped the Tigers in tipping. So not a bad result.Richmond 58 - Carlton 58. That rarest of outcomes, a draw in an AFL game. Feels like a game thrown away as a Blue!

I have been watching Aussie Rules since the mid-70's when there was no AFL (national competition), only state leagues. The biggest & best comp in the country was Victoria - the VFL. Everyone who liked footy outside of VIc generally followed a local team & a VFL. team. Why do you support in this sport mate?
I first came out to Australia in '99. My wife is a Carlton fan, so I naturally became one as well. Watched many a game on the old terracing at Princes Park, back when we had players like Ang Christou, Craig Bradley, Kouta and my favourite, SOS.I have been watching Aussie Rules since the mid-70's when there was no AFL (national competition), only state leagues. Though I have never lived in Vic I have supported Hawthorn since 1977. When my folks emigrated from the UK dad took a liking to the Hawks in the early 70's - mainly due to "Lethal" Leigh Matthews. I starting supporting the Hawks because he did. I am an Evertonian for the same reason.
We hit the jackpot with Hawthorn - I've watched 10 premierships.
You support Carlton? They were a powerhouse back in the 70's & into the 90's. It's been lean pickings for them over the last couple of decades but they seem to have a pretty decent team at the moment.
