Picking on the grammatical errors people make is an excellent entry level technique in the art of curmugeonness. It is a subtle way to alienate oneself from the bands of overly lax, overly cheerful slackers.

In my defence I had originally written "I let..." then went to add the "seem to" but clearly got clumsy with there I prodded the cursor.

I am guilty of failing to properly proof read much of what I type since once having typed it the text is not new to me anymore and re-reading it fails to bring any excitement into my drab and mundane life. Ok what I really mean is I'm generally too lazy to proof read.

Context. I'm a teacher in a country where teachers get extremely generous holidays and tomorrow is the first day back, so I'm seeking refuge in the gremio.

And booze. Lots of booze.

And country music.

Have a good term. Enjoy the first day back having to chat through a rictus smile, repeatedly, about what you did over the summer to the nosey parkers while trying to get some work done in between tiresome, interminable meetings where you're reminded once again how to suck eggs and how to use an epi-pen (in case you forgot since the last hour long lead-pipe of a reminder 6 months ago).

I miss it not.

People just need to take banning orders on the chin. The clique is breaking from the inside out.

The mods are ruling with an iron fist and I got one admire it.

He's even more sensitive than he was before too, if that's possible.

It's down to his missus telling him that I was a way better shag than him, that's why she ended up blowing him out (I hope she took the dog with her as well for it's own sake)
