The blame game

I'd swap Kenwright for Moshiri 1 and 2
The culture of mediocrity and local boyz for local toyz that he convinced Moshiri of has been very destructive, plus it was happening long before Moshiri's reign
If anything he became a worse Chairman when he was getting paid to spend someone else's money
Kenwright needs to GTFO

Your hero is still chairman. Getting approx £1m per year for running the club. The problem is, Moyes isn't here to bail him out anymore. We haven't been relegated in over 70yrs.... your mate has been on our board for every relegation fight in our PL history. We've won nothing during his ownership/chairmanship...... that's not even mediocre in the context of our history. He handed a hollowed out shell of a club to Moshiri who had to spend a fortune just to clear the debts while leaving him in charge, and he's blown the owner's millions on dross, with the club hamstrung. Billy Liar has had you off and it's all come home to roost.
Absolute nonsense, every bit of it, he handed over a club that included players like Lukaku in the squad, and he inherited a bigger mess from Johnson and gave it some stability.
Cold hard facts.

He needs to resign yes, mainly because he won't be able to fix the mess Moshiri made like he did Johnsons

He handed over a club that had dropped to approx 12th in the income league..... with several times the debt left by Johnson. A club that didn't even own its training ground, nor even the whole Goodison estate. He is still chairman now..... still lying now..... and still an abject failure now. Cold hard facts!!!

Cold hard fact, this club gets relegated now under Moshiri, something that never happened when Kenwright owned it and never looked like happening.

No rinse and repeate is those still persisting this mess is on Kenwright, 7 years after he sold it, SEVEN YEARS.

I hear what you are saying. Kenwright does not have very much power at the club when it comes to the critical decisions. He has been in an advisory role at the club for many years but it does feel like he is an easy scapegoat. He may have a say in the day to day operations of the club, EITC and other things but I don’t think Kenwright is the deciding vote on players and managers. He is one of many that have made those decisions.

Moshiri has been an owner that has put his hand in his pocket, he’s built a new stadium, that’s the sort of owner we would have wanted. Unfortunately he has been very short sighted, he has taken big risks and he has trusted the wrong people and spent £600m+ on poor players but you can’t lay all that on Kenwright.

Carlin doesn't know how to Google by the looks of it. Doesn't surprise me at all to be honest.

BILL KENWRIGHT, the Everton vice-chairman, has finally completed a pounds 20 million deal to take over the club - pounds 30m less than Peter Johnson's original asking price for his 68 per cent shareholding. Kenwright, who tied up the agreement late on Christmas Eve after several days of protracted negotiations with Johnson, now has until 25 January to complete the formalities, beginning with a thorough audit of the club's accounts immediately after the holiday period. The deal will value the entire club at around pounds 30m.

Kenwright has opted not to join forces with any of the rival consortiums which have shown interest in the club and has stuck with his own financial backers. They are believed to include Phillip Green, who recently sold his Sports Division group and is currently said to be involved in the move to take over Marks and Spencer.

It is rinse and repeat because you continually use the same tired argument that implies when someone blames Kenwright they are vindicating Moshiri, which they are not. Kenwright is to blame, and Moshiri also. So quit repeating the same nonsense in defence of that leech
