The Eagles on tour

We went to see the Eagles last night in the MEN arena.
1st time Ive seen them in concert and was a bit disappointed with them.
Joe Walsh is an awesome guitarist who was my highlight of the show but I got the impression they were going through the motions for most of the show,with little interactivity with the crowd.
I was just wondering if any fellow blues had seen them and what was their opinion

I saw them at Stormont in Northern Ireland several years ago, then they, just as you said, went through the motions and sang the songs. No personality or interaction with the crowd, the highlight of the night and the only reason I went, if truth be told, was to hear hotel california being played live. Even now just thinking of it makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

Quite a few went home before the encore and the heat in the MEN,especially in the concourse, was uncomfortable.

Thats sad to hear they where a great band back in the day but if they're only going through the motions now they should in all honesty give it up
