Robert Earl is worth £280m according to this link.
In 2006 he bought 23% of the club for a reported £9m, valuing the club at just under £40m. Not sure if it's still 23% and it is not much less than Kenwright owns if BK still owns 25%. Not sure how much he's put into the club since then apart from arranging Sly Stallone appearances? But if the plan is to sell to the right owners, what would a business-man like that want as a return for his bailing Kenwright out in the Paul Gregg situation? (http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/markets/article-1603795/Green-at-heart-of-Everton-battle.html)
Is it realistic we will find a billionaire owner? I don't think so.
Could be a stumbling block to any sale. I find it hard to believe that a man of Earl's business nous could not have at least helped us get close to a sale by now, if that was the plan.
British-born, has a Brit accent, but is into his food and Reality Food shows at the moment.

Wayne Rooney is the 2nd Richest Brit Sportsman with a wealth of £72m....maybe he can help buy us in 7 or 8 years!
