so nothing of any substance then. was just wondering because ive often heard supporters of the board say if real investors were interested they would have come out and said if kenwright and co have turned them away.

Chris Samuelson was introduced at the clubs AGM & Kenwright himself said the man in a bedsit got past DD. I'd hardly call that nothing of substance.

Apparently we are the fifteenth most valuable 'club brand' in the whole wide world. This apparently makes us increasingly attractive to investors and sponsors. I await future developments with studied interest

Everton has signed a kit suppliers deal with Umbro for a 7 year period starting from the start of next season. Umbro has had deals with Everton couple of times before as well, back in 1974 and 2009 but since Umbro was bought by Nike, all their kit deals also went to big american brand. Nike sold Umbro to ” Iconix Brand Group” in 2012 and since than they are making a steady comeback in world football.

The double diamond brand is back in business with one of the most promising teams in premier league under their banner. Everton are having a great season and Umbro will be paying them double the money they are getting at the moment with Nike. Their current contract with Nike is £3m per season while with Umbro they will be making £6m a year for a 5 year contract which might be extended.

Regardless, Nike were defo paying us 3m a year, if you think we would leave Nike, to accept 2m a year from somebody else, well, yano.

Thats the entire point of an agreement to keep it quiet otherwise you can be sued

I don't trust this board to manage that themselves, so they either need to bring someone in who can or sell the club to someone else
