seems the FA have got another proper idiot in charge now if he hasnt even heard of these dodgy offshore companies providing loans to english clubs.

Takes me back a long time this, @Steve Wigan and the like accusing many of us of all manner of filth for suggesting the direct involvement of Green.

It's taken an MP and parliamentary privilege but we've finally had it.

Green even summoning the club's manager. Mind boggling

Mods please note. I did not accuse anyone of 'all manner of filth' and I presume all my postings on the subject of Phil Green are on file. I have never suggested that Phil Green was not connected with Everton, in fact on many occasions I detailed the way I thought(allegedly) that PG could put money intio Everton, via Bill Kenwright Ltd, or 'investment' in Bills shows. All supposition like everything else. 'Orly' is once again taking an opportunity to subject me to unfounded personal abuse. I suggest he retracts or his post is withdrawn ,as similar abuse was withdrawn from the old Kipper site.

There are no realistic consequences for the club. The implications are more for the integrity of board members who may have been taking advice or direction from Green but not having disclosed such.

The club have always denied having any undue involvement with Green, and at a General Meeting in November 2015 chief executive Robert Elstone rebuked a question on the matter.

He said: "Those questions were wrong and shouldn’t be asked. To repeatedly be asked about where we lend from and where Philip Green is in all this is just wrong.”

BK always said that Green was a close personal friend to whom he turned for for advice. I suspect, and have said many times, that I thought(just my opinion) that 'loans' to Everton came from PG through a route via Bill Kenwright Ltd, or through 'investment' in Bills shows. Many of Bills 'close friends' presumably invested in Educating Rita and the like. I also theorised(with no evidence, just a theory) that the overpriced Niasse transfer fee might have somehow got to PG as repayment, but again there is no evidence of this, its just guesswork.
