Cardiff City and Hull fans are finding out that there is more to it than just getting a rich owner...it has to be the right rich owner

This is it, some clowns want Kenwright to sell to anyone for the sake of it just because they want him gone. Unless its the right man we need to stay with Kenwright, there are more stories of foreign owners turning out to be a nightmare than positive ones I'm sure, look at them idiots at Blackburn

The Hull owner has pumped 70 million of his own money into Hull, got them debt free and into a new Stadium. His idea of changing the name to Tigers will some how increase sales in Asia is far fetched but his intentions are to grow the club.

Cardiff had a single number of professional players and were about to go into administration before Tan came on aboard.

As for people going on about Venkys or any of the above, we have are own cock up running the club. If you are about to be operated on by a rotten drunk doctor do you think " It could be worse, it could Shipman "

As per my earlier post in this thread - do you give Kenwright any credit in picking Martinez?

There are various boxes a chairman/owner needs to tick. I fully agree that Kenwright fails in the cash department and finding a new investor/stadium (three major points). But in terms of picking and supporting a manager (non-financially) he's got a great record so far. I don't think you can deny that.

The badge was a cock-up but the club reacted very quickly. That's positive. Not sure how you can compare it to Cardiff, Hull or Blackburn.

Well you can compare it to those 3 and in many ways it's worse, because of course those last 3 tinpot clubs should be grateful to be in existence at all let alone operating in the Premier League. It's no wonder that only chancers and spivs would be attracted to them.

How dare you compare the institution that is Everton Football Club, one of the founding members of the Football League and one of the most decorated clubs in British Football history to any of those.

And all the more sickening that we have a chancer who may or may not be on a similar level to any of the aforementioned clubs owners.

Credit where credit is due though, the badge was a fiasco, but it was rectified quickly once they listened to Evertonians. Kirkby is another kettle of fish mind

I can't help but feel Cardiff and Hull fans can moan all they like, their owners will not listen. They were taken over with those changes already on the agenda.

Their appointment of Alan Myers is a masterstroke though, easily one of the best things Bill Kenwright has ever done.

Cardiff and Hull are lucky to be near the premier league and on those grounds their owners can act as they choose.

Clubs of our stature however should not have to tolerate that type of ownership but we are.

Read the post again - I didn't make the comparison. And "how dare I"? - give your head a wobble mate.

Your passion for Everton is no more valid than their own fans, yes, we can be proud of our history, but to dismiss others is bordering on snobby surely?

Yes we should be proud of our history, however the moment we become complacent and take it for granted is the moment we set foot back on the Wimbledon '94/Coventry '98 road.

Cardiff and Hull's owners are shocking though.

There is no way that badge change was done by Kenwright and Kenwright alone, it might of happened when he was the chairman but you cant put that on his head. If that was his only mistake this season ill allow it in return for the football the team has been playing with the players he secured in the final days of the window.
