I read an article in the Athletic on Brighton today by their correspondent. He formerly was a journalist for the Argus, their local paper. Apparently he was banned and denied access to the Goldstone 15 or so years ago for calling out the awful performance of their then-Board. He had to subsequently go to their matches as a fan with a hat on and hope no one from the club recognised him. Shame no one at the Echo ever had the balls to do that.

I was suspicious about the timing of the reports a deal with MSP etc being close in the last couple of weeks - it might be - but i wondered was it being stage-managed to keep the heat of board and owner heading into the last few games and particularly if we did go down.
