New owners being informed of content on GOT. Sam's getting the word on the current affairs area...

What I would say to anyone that is feeling uneasy about this takeover is if Moshiri is truly committed to this club then he wouldn't even be listening to offers, Kroenke did it at Arsenal, Glazers have done it at United, Abramovich did it at Chelsea until he was forced to sell. All those owners have been offered billions and turned it down, the first opportunity has come up for Moshiri and he's open to it. The last thing we need now is some fella at the top of the house that couldn't really be arsed, especially in the financial state we're in and the need to pay for the stadium, Newcastle had the same under Ashley, just had a grip on the club, spent the absolute minimum and was just waiting to sell.

At least with these Americans every single thing that has come out about them in terms of the football side of thing is that they want us to be a massive thing for them, something for them to build off of and something that they want to make successful. I'm quite happy that we're not in talks with warlords or open criminals like other clubs, I mean even Usmanov is incredibly dirty and involved already here. Of course these lot aren't perfect but they're no where near as bad as some are making out. There's no reason for someone like this group to buy us for any other reason than it's a relatively cheap entry into the biggest sports league in the world and you only make money as an owner in this league by being successful, that's what they'll want with us.

If the worst thing we can say about our prospective owners is that they'll attempt to make us a global "soccer franchise" then by all means let them at it. They seem committed and they will want to make us a success. Moshiri has utterly failed so far, if these lot can come in and clean house, which they will, we'll be in an incredibly better position already.
Absolutely correct.

The fact Moshiri is talking shows he is looking for an exit. That means a takeover is the best outcome for all parties.

£1billion is not a cheap entry into world's the biggest sports industry.

Well that's a surprise. lol

I'm speaking to them at 12 noon, will let you know. think it's no coincidence this came out after my inquiries yesterday

What proof is there this will be structured like the Burnley takeover?

Have you seen the proposals?

Considering how they ran the property business it's quite obvious. Just see my previous posts.

Then there’s gullible people like you who see no wrong doing in Moshiri and think Usmanov is going to come back into the picture once the war in Ukraine is done, if ever, and that Moshiri needs another 2-3 years

How am I gullible?

I've repeatedly said I wouldn't be bothered if Moshiri sold up providing the right buyers stepped forward.

these cats are clearly not the right buyers hence why I refuse to entertain them.

The only gullible fans are the ones who believe this group will plough £1 billion into the club without the use of bank loans put out on the club when one of the 2 blokes in the consortium is worth around the same as Kenwright and the others wealth is hidden in secrecy and at most is believed to be around $1 billion which equates to around £820 million.

The maths dont add up.

I have a bad feeling about this takeover

Hopefully I'm wrong
Many have a bad feeling about the current owner and chairman mate.

The difference is the proof is in the pudding regarding the two we have now, just look at the state of the club. Were heading in the wrong direction we are just getting blindsided by a new shiny stadium, that will be know use to us if we aren't in the PL

Of course any new owner will have risks but il take a punt they are more business savvy than the current lot.

Remember all those legitimate billionaires who chose not to publicise their wealth and got the Telegraph to write a piece about how they own a big building in Minneapolis? Me either.

We are choosing to be taken over by a mystery box and fear it's only going to end up going one way. Amazed at how positive the response is on Twitter etc.

When the option is Moshiri or the box

You don’t know if they are ffs, none of us know exactly what their plans are until they actually sign the deal

Its absolutely frightening.

The sooner people just stop trying to predict the future the better imo.

We have observable factual evidence to point to over the past 6 years that show us which way we’re going under our current owner. These doom mongers have absolutely nothing other than “just got a feeling bro”. That doesn’t qualify as anything substantial unfortunately lads.
