In a way you are right...getting the board out won't change too much on the pitch between now and May, but now the motivation is high to get rid of them and could easily be replaced by the relief of survival again in May should it happen. The board is an ongoing problem, that either hide their incompetence behind mediocrity or contribute to downright failure. It happens in a different timeline to manager switches. Both can happen, they aren't mutually exclusive.
And besides, the way they have acted this past week, 'going to war' with fans seems to be their stance, using false spin and increased security. They've profitted enough from the club imo
Just gone over that, rising every couple of seconds. Let's hope that rate continues.Signed, 9300 about now
HOLD THE PHONE A MINUTE!!I think fans have a decision to make - do they want the board gone that badly that they'll accept relegation in trying to do it ?
If so good luck to them as I said last season I worry little about relegation as the PL is utterly corrupt and part of me will be content with getting away from it for a year or two.
But for a lot of fans who wear being a PL side as a badge of honour they need to think long and hard about where their priorities lay imo.
A toxic atmosphere doesn't help the team no matter how much you "get behind them". Fans were singing you're not fit to wear the shirt just last weekend how is that going to help things ?
Ponder and Mull...What a contrast with Villa. Gerrard sacked, Emery in pretty much straight away. Reported interest in Danny Ings last night, signed today.
‘What would Everton do?’
Danny Ings already plays for Villa mateWhat a contrast with Villa. Gerrard sacked, Emery in pretty much straight away. Reported interest in Danny Ings last night, signed today.

I hope you have an EXTRA WIDE screen

we supported them from the time they arrived till nearly the very end what did yu expect them to be cheered off for again losing to the bottom of the league, never mind Lampard, the board its the team on the pitch in the end will send us down, some of them aren't fit to wear the shirt, not their fault but its true, they need to grow a back bone, do their well paid job and then they get 100% supportI think fans have a decision to make - do they want the board gone that badly that they'll accept relegation in trying to do it ?
