Personally, I think we just lack a top right winger and cover/competition for DCL and Richarlison...not far off a top 6 level front four.


Have we improved the front four from 2016 and 2018 until now?

2021 the overall best.

All of them are pretty much infested with duds

At their best 2016 is better but I can’t remember what level Pienaar and Kev were playing at back then.

Thats the best player, im asking overall best four. Not sure Lukaku makes up for the difference between the current players and the others back then.

If we kept Kean and not signed Rondon + kept James thats a pretty tasty group.

Id rather Gray, Richarlison and DCL combined to just having Lukaku and average players.

If Gray finds consistency he will be a real player, that has been the thing holding him back. An extended run in the side will be doing him the world of good as well, seems he hasn't had that for quite a while.

He's impressed me as well and thank heck he has, we've relied on him and Townsend which I never thought I'd be saying, but they seem to have a good attitude, let's hope it rubs off on others.
