The fans

We have threads to appraise and chew over every player, manager and prominent employee but not a thread to discuss the performance of our fans. As was demonstrated at the end of last season the fans play a major part in influencing the performance of the team and heaping pressure on the manager, or enabling patience.

All elements should be accountable really or we were in a Geordie echo chamber. This thread is applicable really for how you appraise the fans on GOT really. You can show your working out if you wish, I’ve allowed the votes to be changed so the poll can be a real time gauge of fan appraisal.

This has a real time sliding scale so we can accurately assess fan behaviour. I’m quite excited.

I went with average to balance out the fantastic support of the end last season and the away support in general with the snakes that continue to lurk among us calling for our manager’s head because they are more concerned with being right on the internet than our club’s fortunes.

Thank you for your forthright appraisal. Do you feel these “snakes” are in a small minority and if so how could decent, rational, non self loathing fans best deal with their poisoning of the forum?

They appear to be in the minority yes. We most continue to probe and prod them until they change their ways or reveal what they really are.

What do you consider the motivation for such ill behaviour? Thickness? Entitlement? Geordieitis?
