Well chico and his time reference has made me listen to nothing but Pink Floyd for the last few days. Cant say ive listened to them that much lately.

So to the fans, which is your favourite album?
And to the non fans, LISTEN TO THEM.

My favourite would have to be The Wall. Closely followed by The Final Cut.

In my early Teen years The Wall was the only album i owned. Which lead me to play it non-stop every waking hour for a number of years. Im fairly sure i could tell you every single key change.

Nothing compares to them.

1. Darkside of the moon - Know it off by heart - Time (floyds best track)
2. Wish you were here - Shine on pure class
3. Wall - darker album can be a bit depressing, but love it all the same
4. animals - underated but pure class again
5. Final cut - bit patchy but some classics like fletcher memorial, gunners dream - still quality album tho

wish you were here.
the dark side of the moon
the wall
meddle

by the way is it just me, or does roger waters' amused to death fit nicely with the final cut ?? just seems to me that they go together rather well.

1,Animals..classic stuff,
2,Wish you were here,
3,Dark side of the moon,
4,Meddle,
5,The Wall

And yes Dennis..Amused to death does sit well with the Final cut,but lets be fair the band where hardly functioning as a band by then it just adds to the myth it was in reality a Waters solo album, just a shame that its (the final cut) has aged so badly, whereas Amused to death is just as good today as it was back in 1992

indeed, the final cut was pretty much a solo album in all but name. interesting to see how well jeff beck's guitar playing suited roger waters material on amused to death as, apparently, he was mentioned as a possible guitarist for pink floyd way back when dave gilmour was recruited.

Aye Beck played very well on that album..i just wish Waters would get of his arse and do another album,as bland as it was at least Gilmour put out on an island a couple of years back

The Wall.

Same as Goat, for a while it was the only tape I played, ( three months at sea with only one tape! played it to death). Lost the tape many years ago, I may go and buy a CD at the weekend. Every music collection should have it.
