I don’t blame them.
They are business men and they made a sensible business decision that they didn’t value ownership of our club over any inherent risk associated with the purchase.
But I would prefer owners who see us as more than a money making opportunity.
The business must serve the football , not vice versa .
Let’s hope we get owners who value owning Everton more highly than TFG evidently did .

How many football club owners actually make money off clubs realistically? Aside from selling them on.

Really disappointing - just because I want us out of this 'magic finance' loop - the vicious circle Uzzy/Moshiri put us in.

Fascinated by our current situation now - we have a brand new lender in TFG - what are the terms there ? Better / worse than MSP etc. ?

Assume that the stadium costs will slow down at some point and we stop 'having to' borrow because Moshiri won't lend.

Does this change the transfer window and the glimmer of hope in Dyches interview that we may be in less of a financial hole ?
I think transfer budgets where pretty much set regardless of whether the takeover happened or not.

More importantly it would have been a massive boost for the whole club.

One thing I would like going forward is end to the announcement of The Exclusivity agreement, adds far to much anxiety to an extremely anxious fanbase....only announce the deal once it's been fully completed.

No offence - but AFAIK they have no past record in football - what makes you think they would be any better than 777 ?

The comfort I had in TFG was that they appeared to have and executed a football plan that wasn't just hot sales air.
No offence taken .
TFG’s involvement in football is only relatively recent .
Unlike MSP for instance, who specialise in sporting investments TFG are still relatively new to the area . They started off by pouring money in to Roma then changed strategy entirely, so they are still learning themselves.
If the reports are accurate, the Vici bid involves Harris who has some expertise as well as people who know and actually care about Everton.
For me it’s a personal preference based on , admittedly limited, information.
But my gut feeling is Vici are a better option for us than TFG would have been.
But I could be horribly wrong .
I just feel that Everton represents more than just a business opportunity to them.

Apart from Harris, who else is involved in Vici finance ?

Amanda Staveley's PCP Partners are currently looking to invest in another club. Apparently she wanted more control but the Saudi's/Reuben Brothers had far too much power at Newcastle hence her departure.

I imagine Friedkin is still interested, what you're seeing is possible shenanigans.

Well , improving the club and selling them on is possibly the only way to profit.
But I would prefer owners who want to own the club and improve its position for their own gratification.
Someone who values the club higher than its bare financial value.
TFG didn’t value us highly enough to be outstanding owners.
Perhaps no one will ?
We will see .
