We're Double Concentrate mate, we're fineSo, been away for 2.5 days.
What absolute guff have I missed from the angry satsuma?
Are we still Everton or have we been diluted to oblivion as predicted?

Yep, went to the Rome derby sept 2018, and it was only 2/3 full at best. Like you said, they also had ticket stands all over the city centre trying to flog cheap tickets for a mid week champs league game.I was in Rome a few years back and was surprised just how active/desperate they were at all key tourist sites to sell tickets to watch Roma.
Just had a nose at their average attendances - it was half their capacity when I was there. Never selling out. So not surprised they were desperately trying to fill seats.
Friedkins have done well to increase that attendance - it's a remarkable uplift, really?

That's the kind of thing you can do in huge tourist cities like Rome. It's the same in London - you can buy tickets to a West Ham game in Leicester Square when you can't get into Les Mis.Yep, went to the Rome derby sept 2018, and it was only 2/3 full at best. ToshNo, I wouldn't historically speaking.
But these days they overshadow us and we'll be caught up in their world not the other way around.
The perception elsewhere will be that we're the poor relations.
I’ve always thought the 911 looked like a squashed BeetleWhat does everyone think of when they see these car brands?
If you didn’t know, VW own all of these car companies. Have any of their identities been diluted or eviscerated? No, absolutely not. In most cases they’ve become even stronger because of the multi-brand owner.
- Seat.
- Audi.
- Skoda.
- Bugatti.
- Bentley.
- Lamborghini.
- Ducati.
- Porsche
Each of these companies are ran independently and have clear and distinct strategies and identities.
Guarantee you don’t look at a Bugatti and say “cracking Volkswagen that”
I can’t see the resemblance to any of the fab 4 myself.I’ve always thought the 911 looked like a squashed Beetle

Looks a bit like Pete Best after he got his P45, maybe?I can’t see the resemblance to any of the fab 4 myself.
In terms of onfield performance they eclipse us in the last decade or so. No question about that.Nah.
New stadium sees us sail past.
Probably already past them after Castore.
The potential for Premier League Everton is much more.
You ever think maybe the issue is how you're framing this takeover maybe instead of one club overshadowing the other (seems to be a commonly used word by yourself, was it on your word of the day calender?) Both clubs can operate in symbiosis where both clubs are prized and used to benefit each other rather than one club be peripheralIn terms of onfield performance they eclipse us in the last decade or so. Turnover? That doesn't tell us much in terms of prestige. For example, Newcastle's turnover is way more than that taken in by Seville, but Newcastle have won nothing and done nothing for 55 years while Seville have won 2 Spanish Cups and 7 Europa League trophies in the last 20 years.
If those two were in a multi-club organisation no one would consider Newcastle as overshadowing Seville; the other way round more likely.

No. My preferred word fr what's happening is 'subsumed'.You ever think maybe the issue is how you're framing this takeover maybe instead of one club overshadowing the other (seems to be a commonly used word by yourself, was it on your word of the day calender?)
