That's not true though is it?

We know we'll be part of a multi club group if purchased by TFG. That's right isn't it?

We know that such groups have flagship teams, such as Man City, Roma, Lyon, Leipzig. That's right isn't it?

Therefore it's entirely correct to state that our identity and credibility are threatened with being enveloped into a structure where we're part of a number of entities and not even the most important one.

That's the danger.

I say - especially in the wake of being near destroyed by the last 'clever' businessman - be vigilant. Don't let the club's reputation and heritage be destroyed by people who's chief reason for existence in this world is to flog Toyota cars to yanks in about 5 or 6 states in the U.S. That's all they are. They have no interest in preserving our 146 year old legacy. They just flog things to death for cash.

Stay critical. Stay vigilant.
How many multi club outfits have an EPL team as 2nd fiddle though?
(Another Everton first ffs!)

John Textor's Group has Palce defo behind Lyon and probably Botafogo in the pecking order.

*nice white text!*
A) Textor’s group owns a minority share holding at Palace.

B) Until Textor was linked with us, I (and no doubt the majority of other football fans), had zero idea Palace was part of the same “multi-club model” as Lyon, which basically means any fears of our “identity” being “diluted” is an absolute nonsense.

I’ll have to take you word for that as I’ve no idea how Lyon are performing (noting Textor is only effectively 25% owner of Palace), but a few sales of the value of Olise or Mateta would soon change his mind of where to focus his efforts I’d imagine.

No new owner will have any interest in preserving our legacy - it’s a business decision for them. The yanks over the park don’t give a toss about the kopites and will be off when it suits them financially. Same for the criminal states owning Citteh and the horse punchers - when they’re no longer of use to them, they’ll flog their clubs too.

The best we can hope from new owners is that they’re actually competent and, if so, they stick around long enough to make us financially sustainable, rather than hollowing us out.

The business of top level footie makes no accommodation for sentiment. That’s for the fans, and these owners have no regards for us either.

That wasn't the question though. The question asked was is there any English PL teams playing second fiddle in these multi-club groups.

Tbf Palace and Lyon’s relationship is a bit of an odd one given they aren’t strictly part of the same group ownership, Textor has a group and a share in Palace outside of that if I understand correctly.
