How many of these groups were around last time though ? When 777 were entering talks, we were subject to punishments over PSR in which there was a lot more uncertainty regarding our PL status & the severity of the punishment we were going to receive.
If Manoukian or Vici or Friedkin were interested 12 months ago, why were none of their interest made public like they were recently ?
Same as me mate. We have all criticised the mans running of EFC however the sensible fans can acknowledge the positives that he has done and the good intentions that he had in trying to have us competing, something BK never provided.
I am personally shocked at the brass neck of those who abuse the man at every opportunity, demand he sells up yet expects him to pump more money into the club.
So are the Friedkin Group just lenders to us now ?
I think that’s a bit harsh, yes he has made a total mess of it and it will personally cost him millions. But that beautiful new stadium on the banks of the Mersey would not have appeared without him. It won’t be long until we have new owners and we may look at things slightly differently in the near future….
Yes but we could already be playing in our new state of the art stadium if no MoshiriThe ironic thing is, without Moshiri = no BMD.
So are the Friedkin Group just lenders to us now ?
It’s Occams Razor isn’t it? Usually the obvious explanation is the correct one. We are in a period where our existence is threatened enabled by Kenwright as he introduced the Moshiri virus into the club. Every part of the situation we face now is down to Moshiri’s / Usmanov’s completely negligent mismanagement of the club. Who remembers the first AGM when Moshiri said as long as he was at the club we would have no money worries? Complete lie as it turns out.
Pretty much my exact feelings.I don’t believe this is that bad. Friedkin identified a risk due to the 777 loan, but it’s a risk that can be insured against, it’s just a case of who pays for the insurance and how long it takes to put in place. He knew all this before making a bid, it’s not something he ‘discovered’. I still believe it’s just a negotiation tactic, but one that has already allowed him to take a stake in the club…..
Bill took us through the wrong door to many times and this includes bringing Moshiri to the club...The chicken have well and truly come home to roost.Lets take a real step back and see where blame originally lies...
And that is Bill Kenwright. When the current Man City owners wanted to buy Everton he turned them down. He turned others down. He carefully waited until he found someone in Moshiri, that would retain him in his position of power. There was never a chance of selling to a real owner, a good owner, instead of one that would keep him in his tower.
So Moshiri the Incompetent arrived, and he gets the blame rightly for his incompetence. But that was the only type of owner who would continue to let Bill run the show, and the only one we ever were going to get. Even when things got bad Moshiri never had the courage or competence to fire him. That is what makes Moshiri the current villain. Our real hope is breaking the Kenwright chain. As of right now, we are still bound by it. Once we fully break from him and his chosen lackeys, there is actual hope for a good future. Friedkin still sees Bills fingerprints on the club and sees it was a mess. It takes a lot of money to undo 1 Bill Kenwright.

How do we get rid mate?Moshiri is an extension of Kenwright. Kenwright is gone but his tentacles live on inside the club through Moshiri. We need rid of him as a matter of priority and urgency, at this point it doesn’t matter who takes over as long as every trace of Moshiri is long gone. We will continue to slowly die with every passing day he remains in position.
