In a perfect world, I would agree, but I've come to terms with it. This isn't an effort to try to dissuade you from your opinion. I just believe that the future of the sport is, unfortunately, going to be one of hyper commercialization and big conglomerate owners that suck up all of the top clubs. At least Friedkin seems to be your standard billionaire (even slightly more positive as he has some wildlife conservation in his portfolio) and not the head-chopping kind.
We're in the position that we're in, as a club, because certain past owners refused to modernize with the rise of the Prem. If Multi-club models are the future, at least we're somewhat ahead of/keeping up with that trend and we'd be owned by a decent option with a respectable sister club.
