Let us flounder about to start the season on a pathetic one point with a rudderless ship, then come save us? I think it’s pathetic how they went about this

Ay the only thing missing from that England squad was a proper attacking coach 😂It had absolutely nothing to do with his tactics and style of play did it? He's a terrible manager who lucked out, individual talent won him games, near enough always come unstuck against better opposition, would be a dreadful appointment.
I’m sure it’s untrue but I absolutely echo your points

I'll answer once for all those who asked.

De Rossi's dismissal came as a surprise for everybody. Rumors had circulated about him having a fight with Cristante during training. 😁 According to some journalists his relationship with Lina Souloukou was strained to say the least. But nobody expected he'd be out so soon, even after a bad start. Last two matches were unlucky but well played overall, so we expected better performances over time, considering many players are new.

They decided to sack him in the middle of the night. It's highly likely something we don't know happened.

In any case, they've made a huge mistake. It remains to be seen whether they did it in may when they extended De Rossi's contract - 3 years for 3 million euros a season - or a few days ago when they sacked him.

They also underestimated the fans' emotional attachment to De Rossi. Most of the hardcore fans lost their minds, threatening Souloukou who's been put under police escort and decided to resign shortly thereafter in order to protect her children.

Now they need to find a replacement.

They aren't absent risks but they have always been IMO the clear best option of the interested parties. I am very surprised and relieved if this re-engaged interest is real and ends up with them on top. Not naive to noise out of Rome as of late but beyond the manager turnover/hoopla over De Rossi's dismissal I think the business broadly and especially this window has been impressive.

They have always seemed the most sensible option with the biggest growth plate. Deepest pockets of the interested parties, a diverse portfolio/income stream sources that includes media/entertainment that could possibly create plus financial avenues through the stadium. A relative low profile and public presence and I think defensible football acumen despite not having been in the space long.

I really hope this is the last act and they get it done with no public bidding war. Textor is not a legitimate option as long as the Palace shares aren't cleared. And even in that hypothetical I would question how fast he could simply take controlling interest. He still is a worse option comparatively. And who else is there? Moshiri get it done, clear your head and leave us for good.

It would seem ludicrous to come in, pull out, come in again, and pull out once more. I mean, I know the Everton Takeover Saga has been so protracted that the BBC have published an interactive timeline of events, but surely there comes a time where the Friedkins are actually damaging their own reputation by taking part in their version of Lanigan's Ball.
Yeah to come back again they must be happy with whatever their concerns where now. Probably wont even need another exclusivity period so it could actually go pretty quick this now if it happens.
