Based on Lampard's comments about watching Maupay in the CL when he was with Derby he might have been his signing but that could've just been something positive to say.
Beto does look like a what we can get for what we have kind of signing alright.

A clean sweep would be good. Need a complete renewal to shake the culture of mediocrity that has led to below mediocrity

Err he ain't ever played in the CL my man.

Interesting that Friedkin is on the European Club Association board.

A proper heavy-hitter.

One of the best indicators of our decline over the last 35 years is just how invisible the club has been in European football politics terms. We were, literally, left behind.

Josh Wander was on the ECA...

No matter how long it takes, These guys will likely start having some influence in the running of the club immediately and i think we will start to notice that in the forthcoming days and weeks. Its all good.
Yeah I’d be surprised if they didn’t get some boots on the ground even if it’s in an “observational” capacity. 2-3 months is a long time to wait for formal approval and they’ll want to have some informal directing hand. For example if results don’t improve they won’t want to wait until Christmas to replace a failing manager when it has such an enormous impact on the value of their investment.

hopefully they’ve got time to hit the ground running this season and have their strategy ready (if it isn’t already) for activity required moving forward.
I would imagine they will appoint a new CEO and board from day one. That's what they did at Roma.

Unless things stay as bad as they are on the pitch, or heaven forbid worsen I think they'll hold fire on Dyche. But they'll be in on the ground from now. I really hope results improve so that it isn't as much of an issue as it currently is.

Be interesting to see what they make of Thelwell. I would not be surprised if eventually they appointed someone who had oversight of both Everton and Roma as a group sporting director.

"The complexities around the sale of Everton appear to show no signs of reducing."

I doubt these guys will wait too long for on-pitch improvement. They are not going to jeopardise their investment by fiddling while Roma burns and we are relegated to the Championship.
