Exactly while I was writing they don't speak, they released their first official statement since 2020:

Football is admired around the world as the beautiful game. Each match is filled with passion, excitement and unpredictability – and that’s why we love it.

But beyond the results on the pitch, our responsibility as club owners is to make big decisions that we believe are in the best interest of the club, even when they are very difficult to make.

The transfer signings this summer marked the beginning of a strategic multi-year project designed to bring AS Roma back to the forefront of European football. As part of this vision, the development of a new stadium, which will honor the club’s deep history, is well underway.

Let us say this; we have the utmost respect for Daniele and believe he will have a great career as a coach. Maybe even one day back at Roma. The decision to part ways with him was incredibly difficult, but we made it with the belief that it gives us the best opportunity to compete for trophies this season.

We remain active investors in the sports industry. We love the beautiful game. The potential addition of Everton to our portfolio does not alter our focus on AS Roma. If anything, the multi-club symbiosis will only help Roma. Each club in our portfolio operates independently and AS Roma remains at the heart of our football ambitions. Rest assured, our commitment of time, resources, and energy to Roma will not be diminished. Our goal is clear - to see AS Roma consistently compete at the highest levels of European football.

To our incredible fans, we acknowledge the immense responsibility we bear in leading this historic club. Your unwavering loyalty fuels us as we continue building for the future. We value your voices and want you to know — we hear you. You are the soul of this club, and we are determined to make you proud.

Forza Roma.

Can't argue with that!

Can't argue with any of that.

Give it two months, someone on t'interweb will have a spreadsheet showing what Friedkin are doing wrong, why the sums don't add up and what they should be doing instead.
That "someone" will have a podcast about that very thing in, ooh, a couple of days.

"Hello, good morning, good afternoon, or good evening to you wherever you are in the world..."

He was once described to me as "the arch manipulator", Bill Kenwright

When you look at all the things that went on over 20 years. That is more than a true description for him

The damage that has been caused. If Friedkin are paying off these third party loans that immediately knocks about £30 MILLION A YEAR in interest costs off for Everton

That have been hugely damaging to Everton Football Club

Regardless of what people like Colin Chong or those like him claim
Yes, if the current speculation around RMF and legacy 777 debt being paid off (and the small metro loans), then we have removed at least 30m (likely closer to 40m) in interest costs never mind the principal we should have been repaying from our annual PL and liabilities. If true and with a proper commercial team in place, our PSR problems from hereon are no more.

Of course we still have to address the remaining PSR skeletons from BK but ideally this current season will be the end of that.

From what I have seen about TFG, I am cautiously optimistic, and that is from someone who has been an Evertonian for over 60 years. I have seen some ups and downs for sure. They can't be any worse than Moshiri can they, can they?

Thanks for this , it was interesting to hear from a Roma supporter about what they’re like up close.
You have confirmed my concerns about them.
They appear insular , remote and uncommunicative, leaving supporters in the dark about their aims and intentions?
They do not understand how football works and make the wrong appointments for the wrong reasons.?
They are prone to confusing football with the glitz and glamour of showbiz ?
To be honest they sound like Moshiri with more glitter and even less football nous .
People have been going giddy over them here purely because they are wealthy it seems and not because of their ability to run a football club.
On the plus side they are good on the financial side?
And their addiction to showbiz style appointments probably means they will want an A list star as their leading man , which doesn’t bode well for Dyche as he is more the gritty down to earth character actor type .

Aboslutely yes. They've released their first statement today on asroma.com after 4 years.

They do not understand how football works and make the wrong appointments for the wrong reasons.?

Their own understanding of the game is limited. They make good appointments, but it seems to me they treat football as if it were, let's say, cinema. They rely on headhunting agencies, choose people who lack experience in the country they're going to work in.

They are prone to confusing football with the glitz and glamour of showbiz ?

They are prone to putting up shows.

On the plus side they are good on the financial side?

Very good. It's their best skill.

ha ha.. take your word for that lid.

I just enjoy a bunch of message board nerds comparing home made spreadsheets, arguing about which of their spreadsheets the billionaire football club owners should be using as a blueprint,

That's why there has to be a complete purge of the club when the new guys take over. Anybody infected by that self-serving sentiment and plucky knife to a gunfight culture has to be purged. Kenwright is still steeping out of the walls of Goodison. The new stadium has got to be a clean slate.
