I don't know whether this news is true or not, but this guy is completely unreliable. As a matter of fact, the message shown in the bottom part of the video preview says "e quando mai hai preso una notizia Camelio", which can be roughly traslated as follows: "Camelio, remind me the last time you said something true". People on twitch and X make fun of him all the time.
Do you hate Dan too?

The RS are moving from Nike to Adidas for £70m a year for a five year contract, a new record for an English premier league club. Hats off to them.

If the reported annual figures we are getting from Castore are correct (perhaps they are given this massive deal but I have my doubts), then our dear neighbours have just set a new high watermark for us and everyone else in kit deal terms.

Given Roma also already work with Adidas, over to the Friedkin team to get us away from the present Castore junk. The warm up / pre game anthem tops are especially vile. No incentive to purchase such garbage.

Castore deal is reported at over £20 mil per year.
For the clubs present status this is excellent.
Maybe one day , just maybe when we start winning multiple trophy's including Champions league and a huge World wide fan base we can command such figures.
For where we are it's really good business.

Yes, it'll be good if they hand us that stability in the short term. We need a breather from crisis.

However, they are here for the stadium and sweating that to the max.

IMO, conflict is baked into this deal: the fans of a club like Everton are based on strong community values and the soon-to-be corporate owners' concerns are with maximising profit. It's the immovable object meeting the unstoppable force.

Only a Mansour type of investor stops that having to happen, and TFG dont have the wherewithal for that.

Ah yes, those Middle Eastern oil tycoons and their strong community values. What a load of absolute waffle.

Devils advocate time and in fact middle eastern owners do tend to present very favourably towards the community and tick all the boxes towards values etc.

But never forget it's just a fake by them, the entire purpose of their ownership model is sports washing public images, so ofc they present in this way, meanwhile they are chopping up journos inside embassies or stoning women to death for improper morality etc.

Depends if you are ok with deciding for yourself that it's fine to be owned by them because the teams improved....

Exactly why it’s absolutely pointless to want an Arab/Quatar takeover with bottomless pits of money. All you need is people in charge who are savvy business people who can improve the commercial side of the business, and then have enough cash to spend whatever the relaxed PSR restrictions due to this better commercial deals, allows. The Friedkins are more than adequate in this department. Newcastle is a case in point.

….the bottom line is we can’t wait around and wait for a rich Arab owner, they’ve had plenty of time to make a bid. We have TFG, bit of a pointless discussion wanting something that’s not happening.

No one who has the type of cash to take control of a PL club have clean hands.

By all accounts they had a lot of hassle getting involved with Newcastle and it seems that PL clubs are off the menu in future for them.
