Dave there's clean and there's blood soaked

It's like saying a girl whose slept with a few guys when younger is the same as a girl whose had a ten year adult movie career.
That's a daft comparison.

I guarantee you that anyone who has billions has had investments in entities involved in exploitation.

Again Dave, there's degrees of involvement and the level of it, if you can't see that then I don't know how to explain it to you.

I'd hardly call personally ordering the kidnapping, murder and dismemberment followed by dissolving the body in acid of a journalist inside an embassy 'exploitation' either mate, which is exactly what the Saudi Crown prince did

It's a statement of fact mate. Unless you're telling me than someone can build a business worth billions up from nothing without exploiting a lot of people along the way.

Degrees of involvement in exploitation dont cut muster. You've invited the principle of exploitation into the debate but now you want to limit just how exploitative an investor can be to smuggle one owner over the line compared to others who cant be smuggled over the line.

The RS are moving from Nike to Adidas for £70m a year for a five year contract, a new record for an English premier league club. Hats off to them.

If the reported annual figures we are getting from Castore are correct (perhaps they are given this massive deal but I have my doubts), then our dear neighbours have just set a new high watermark for us and everyone else in kit deal terms.

Given Roma also already work with Adidas, over to the Friedkin team to get us away from the present Castore junk. The warm up / pre game anthem tops are especially vile. No incentive to purchase such garbage.
While Liverpool's deal is very, very good, it's not a record. Man U make more from Adidas with a reported £90m a year deal.

Ah yes, Newcastle, the ‘richest club in the world’ who had one excellent season and then stagnated because they can’t spend any more money. That really is the dream.
Arab owners means nothing as they still have to abide by the rules, they bought a load of players but failed to sell any and actually balance the books properly. Ashworth will do the same at Man Utd, the difference is that the rules will always get "manipulated" for them.

Aye, the rules that were brought in to stop any 'johnny come lately's' from gatecrashing the Sky 6 and risking derailing their gravy train

Maybe it's all the death and destruction in the world at the moment - but I'm kind of glad to be able to support Everton and not wonder whether that means also supporting tyrannical behaviour.

The sports washing must be working because it seems quite easy for football fans to turn a blind eye for a shiny trophy.

Yes, all quiet in Russia, where Usmanov operates, no tyranny or anything like that :hayee:
