Just had possibly the best lecture I've ever had. The facilities manager for Everton did a guest lecture and talked about the running of Finch Farm and Goodison Park. Some very interesting little bits of info about various things. I'll have a look through my notes later and post some stuff.

One thing that stuck out to me though was that Martinez always conducts his press conferences on a Thursday. Why? Because all the other managers do theirs on a Friday and so Martinez wants to maximise media exposure.

I reckon so. With him stating that we've got money to spend this summer I think he wants us to be considered one of the big teams, and not shying away like Moyes did.

Can't blame him, he's got an excellent grasp of the language and he's handsome, not many other managers have that so he should make the most of it.
