I've gone for a 4-2-3-1 seeing as it's probably our most used formation throughout.

I’d maybe have Mina over Tarkowski quality wise but he wasn’t available enough.

Yeah I thought of Mina, but like you say because the amount of games he missed I just thought he wasn't reliable enough. So many games he started and went off before half time.

If that's more or less our best side over that time - and I'm not saying it isn't - then that tells you all you need to know about why the Moshiri years were all fur coat no knickers. A team full of gaping holes - inadequate full-backs, slow, ponderous over-the-hill midfield, and iffy strikers. A parody of a "top side".

Iwobi was just awful. The only thing he did in his time here was the goal against the barcodes.

The problem was never spending too much money (it’s about what our club should be spending), it was wasting it on players we recouped nothing from.
