I saw the clip below with Ray Liotta saying who he considered the most overrated actor was in the 80's & 90's. Let's not stick to those two decades though.

So... Who do you consider to be the most overrated actor/actress?

Personally, I'd go with Tom Cruise and maybe Will Smith.

I think most people who make it to big budget films are reasonably good actors - they are able to make you like or sympathise or fear their character. That also comes down to the quality of the writing and directing of course. I can't think of any particularly bad ones, I can only think of good ones - I'm not saying they're the best, but I've never been disappointed by Tom Hanks, Clint Eastwood or Jack Nicholson fillums. On that basis I'd say everybody else is the worst. Does that help?

Tom Cruise whilst a total weirdo and freak, is undeniably badass and undeserving of being on this list. He's a decent actor but the fact he does his own stunts takes him firmly into the 'don badman' category.

I don't think Statham takes himself seriously. The Rock, despite his attempts at appearing light hearted, takes himself very seriously.
